Mission and Vision

Our Mission: We seek to safeguard orphans and vulnerable children from poverty, abandonment and the evils of human trafficking as clearly directed by the Bible.

Our Vision: Partnering worldwide with indigenous Christians, we strive to combat poverty and human trafficking through child sponsorships, clothing distribution, self-sustainability projects, orphan home construction, and trafficking and after-care initiatives.

At Forgotten Children Worldwide, we don’t pretend to have all of the answers, mostly because WE DON’T KNOW ALL THE ANSWERS.

But here’s what we do know:

Christ calls us to defend the orphan and the widow.

He tells us to minister to the lost, to visit the imprisoned, to clothe the naked and feed the hungry.

He implores us to extend beyond our small, safe territories and to walk into the uncomfortable—the places where people are waiting expectantly for hope and restoration.

This is why it’s our mission to empower the lives of those beyond our neighborhoods. And we believe that by awakening our spirits to the plights of our brothers and sisters around the globe, something powerful begins to happen here at home: We become the hands and feet of Jesus, the living incarnation of the mission of Christ, AND IT CHANGES US—FOREVER.

This is why we’re here, carrying this bold and daring vision—forging the paths of grace and mercy between hemispheres because we have tasted and seen the goodness of the Lord, and without hesitation, we affirm that His goodness crosses every border and stretches throughout every land.
