The River, a FCW partnering church in Fort Wayne, Ind. recently raised $10,000 to dig a well in Jinja, Uganda to provide the necessary water for New Life Partners' Heifer Farm and the surrounding community. Prior to the installation of this well, individuals would ride bicycles or walk half of a mile multiple times each day for fresh drinking water which is critical for the heifers' milk production. The recent draught caused the old watering hole to dry up and some of the heifers to die.
