Clothing
Forgotten Children collects, packs and ships used children's clothing overseas to help orphans truly in need of these basic necessities. Forty-foot containers of clothing (around 20,000 pounds for each container) are shipped to established ministries around the world.
Clothing has been shipped to countries like the Ukraine and different parts of India, benefiting countless children in extreme poverty. For those items too big or not appropriate due to political or cultural reasons, we donate these locally to a ministry that distributes clothes to the poor and needy. The typical Westerner has more than enough clothing. The next time you clean out your closet, would you consider giving your clothes to someone in need? A shirt may not mean much to you or me, but to a street child it can mean life or death.
Used clothing donations are welcomed all year long, For a complete list of 24-hour drop-box locations throughout northeast Indiana,
